The children who come to SpringHaven are provided the same age-appropriate services as their mothers. Our Child/Youth Advocate works with the children, individually and in group settings. She provides a supervised homework time and a nutritious snack each afternoon after school, except Friday.
We also offered court-ordered, and Cabinet recognized parenting courses. These courses can help protect families and prevent separations.
We are always interested in recruiting new volunteers. We believe that volunteers are our partners in this important work. Therefore, anyone who wants to volunteer on any on-going basis must complete our training program and must have a clean criminal record.
