We are always interested in recruiting new volunteers. We believe that volunteers are our partners in this important work. Therefore, anyone who wants to volunteer on any on-going basis must complete our training program and must have a clean criminal record. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, unless they are part of an organized group, such as a church youth group, or scouts, etc. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at SpringHaven, please call the business office at (270) 765-4057 to request a volunteer packet.
The donations we receive save us thousands of dollars a year.
We currently need these items.
We are asking that businesses, schools, churches, civic groups and yes, even Zumba classes collect used cell phones for us. We keep a number of them and give to our clients. We do send most of them to an organization called Shelter Alliance who recycles them and sends us a check. We will have specially marked collection boxes for this purpose. If you would like to participate in this project, please call Tanya at (270) 765-4057 and she will help you to get started. Thanks again.
