Definitely! We never close. All of our services are 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We have Advocates available to speak with you any day or hour of the day. Our Crisis Line number is 1-800-767-5838.
All of our calls are confidential. However, if you want a relative or emergency contact to know where you are, a Release Form can be signed.
SpringHaven is a non-profit organization and all of our services are free.
We always want everyone who leaves to know they can call any time. There is no limit to how many times a person can return to shelter. It takes some victims several times to actually leave for the final time.
SpringHaven has a Phase Program that allows you to work with your Advocate to meet your goals. As long as shelter guidelines are followed, the goals you set will determine your length of stay.
We have avenues through UWCK, KCADV, and our Kentucky Housing Emergency Shelter Grant to assist with initial housing needs.
SpringHaven recognizes domestic violence is all about power and control over an intimate partner. Forms of abuse can include physical, sexual, mental/psychological, financial, or emotional. We believe and support all victims of domestic violence.
We are always interested in recruiting new volunteers. We believe that volunteers are our partners in this important work. Therefore, anyone who wants to volunteer on any on-going basis must complete our training program and must have a clean criminal record.
