Office Volunteer Advocate
Answer phone lines for crisis calls,
staff and residents
Provide support and information to domestic
violence survivors and their children. Children's

Tutor
Participate in small group activities
to build self-esteem
Provide one-on-one time
Assist on field trips as it relates
programming
Provide a story hour for children
Volunteer Victim
Advocate
Support individuals by collecting
information and accompanying them to court hearings.
Monitoring relevant court proceedings.
Non-Direct Services (Orientation
Required)
Updating
resource library, filing, workshop preparation and support services,
phone follow-up, logging data, receptionist
duties, child care, assist clients with relocation and home
set-up, holiday preparations, speakers bureau and special events.
Volunteers can also assist with
yard and maintenance work, and special projects such as working
at information
booths at Chamber Luncheons and other community events.
