On Call Family Advocate
Qualifications: BA/BS in human services preferred
and one year related experience.
Skills: Ability to relate to a wide variety of
people utilizing program services. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Responsibilities:
1. Answer 24-hour crisis line.
2. Deal professionally with inquiries from general public and
program business calls.
3. Perform intake and review program guidelines with new residents.
4. Provide supervision and monitoring of all residents.
5. Provide crisis intervention and supportive counseling by telephone
and in person.
6. Provide information about community resources and legal alternatives.
7. Maintain accurate client files.
8. Compile monthly statistics
9. Document appropriately all interactions with clients.
10. Dispense medicines to clients as needed.
11. Attend Monthly Staff Meetings.
12. Other duties as assigned.
