     1. Criticize, humiliate you or call you names?
     2. Demand to know where you are at all times?
     3. Accuse you of being unfaithful?
     4. Hit, push, shove, slap or kick you?
     5. Force you to have sex against your will?
     6. Keep you from seeing your family and friends?
     7. Control your access to medications, resources or transportation?


If you answered "Yes" to any of these, you may be in an abusive relationship. You are not alone. The abuse is not your fault. Help is available. Anyone can be a victim. It happens to people of all ages, races, religions, all income and educational levels, and all sexual orientations. Both men and women may be victims.

Domestic violence does NOT go away on its own. It usually gets worse with time. Talking with someone may not be easy but it can help. NO ONE deserves to be abused.

SpringHaven, inc. offers 24 hour assistance 7 days a week to anyone who is a victim of spouse/partner abuse. There is NO charge for these services:

The 7th Annual Orchestra and Festival of Trees will be held Saturday, November 29th.  The Lexington Philharmonic will delight everyone again this year by performing all of your favorite Christmas classics.  The Festival of Trees will prove to be even more beautiful than ever and as you view the entries, you will be serenaded by “Testify”.   Arnold’s Coffee Café will again furnish all the delicious desserts and coffee.  Tickets go on sale November 1st.  For ticket locations or more information call
